The Patient Access Specialist is a position with diverse responsibilities associated with the referral and seamless transition of patients and clients to all agency services and programs. It requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills via telephonic communications, knowledge of basic medical terminology and ICD-10 coding. Must possess exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills. Staff in this position must also possess critical thinking, problem solving and multi-tasking skills as well as the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
