The specialist assists ancillary departments across multiple locations, ensuring that templates support patient, department, and facility needs. Additionally, the role involves completing assigned work queues related to orders, scheduling, and insurance verification, and notifying the Patient Access Supervisor of any trends that may delay patient care. The specialist also supports the Patient Access Supervisor with special projects and must maintain a professional image while exhibiting excellent customer relations in accordance with service excellence standards.
