About The Position

Manages patient account information by verifying insurance details and maintaining accurate records. Assists patients with billing inquiries, resolves discrepancies, and processes payments. Coordinates with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement. Reviews accounts to identify errors, communicates with patients regarding outstanding balances, and maintains confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Supports the billing department through report generation and account tracking.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in patient account management or medical billing.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes.
  • Experience resolving patient billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
