With one MRI and two PET scanners and a team of about 10 people, everyone works closely together. Teamwork with colleagues and providers is a must. Most of our work is research-based, so there’s a unique opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge clinical trials focused on Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, which is rewarding. Experience with MRI and PET scheduling is a plus. The PAS Scheduler and Registration rep will provide services for our outpatient neuroimaging (MRI and PET imaging) primarily supporting research trials and clinical scanning in Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. You will be responsible for handling all scheduling, patient registration, benefits verification and prior authorization needs for the MRI and PET imaging at Banner Alzheimer's Institute. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Banner Alzheimer's Institute (BAI) was established in 2006 as Banner Health's first Center of Excellence. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for scheduling and financially clearing patients for outpatient, inpatient or recurring procedures in one continuous workflow. Accurately schedules for a range of services as well as registration tools to complete all points of registration, ABN's, patient liability estimates, financial counseling and collections for scheduled services.
