The Patient Access Services Coordinator at BayCare Health System plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient access operations within the outpatient infusion department. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including front desk operations, registration, scheduling, financial counseling, and more, all aimed at enhancing the patient experience and streamlining service delivery.

  • Perform functions in any or all of the following PAS modalities: Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, Cashier, Insurance, and Document Imaging
  • Proficient in all of the Patient Access Service modalities within the department
  • Resolve PAS and customer service issues
  • Process payroll
  • Maintain department staffing schedules
  • Assist the manager in providing guidance and direction to the Patient Access Service Representatives
  • May be required to rotate shifts and occasionally take on-call responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • 3 years of related field experience
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent GED required
  • Associate's Degree preferred
