PATIENT ACCESS SERVICE REP, FH - IMAGING ASSISTANTS
About The Position
Be part of a dedicated team that plays a vital role in supporting the patient experience within Imaging Services. In this position, you'll work across six imaging modalities, assisting patients as they prepare for their exams, becoming certified to provide oral contrast, and helping them navigate to their next area of care. We're seeking a team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in delivering compassionate, patient-centered service. The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR) delivers an exceptional patient experience for "front of house"/patient facing needs. Proactively greets patients and visitors and creates a helpful, positive, welcoming and friendly patient experience. Provides outstanding customer service both in person and on the phone.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customer service field is required.
- Effective communication skills, oral and written required.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong proactive organizational skills a must.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cross-train across multiple imaging desks and modalities
- Assist patients with check-in, preparation, and transitions between imaging areas
- Collaborate with a supportive and dynamic team
