About The Position

Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a full-time Patient Access Representative to work in our Rehab department. SHIFT & HOURS : Full-time, Monday through Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clerical experience with a background in medical terminology or prior healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• EPIC EHR experience preferred

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and schedule patients
• Verify insurance coverage
• Answer/redirect phone calls
• Collect co-pays and up-front payments
• Assist with other registration responsibilities as needed
