What You'll Do As a Patient Access Representative, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compassionate care from the moment a patient walks through our doors. Your responsibilities will include: Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance Registering patients and managing referrals Handling phone calls and point-of-service collections Maintaining accurate records and protecting patient privacy Supporting financial outcomes and patient satisfaction What We're Looking For We’re seeking someone who is: A strong communicator—both in person and in writing Calm under pressure and great at multitasking Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent service

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; medical terminology courses a plus
  • 2+ years in a hospital or physician office preferred
  • Prior experience in scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk, or MA roles a bonus
  • Familiarity with registration and billing processes preferred
  • A strong communicator—both in person and in writing
  • Calm under pressure and great at multitasking
  • Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent service
