About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing healthcare provider. This position involves arranging for the efficient and accurate collection of information for the orderly registration of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. It also includes collecting and distributing patient information, billing information, and collection information, and making patients and families aware of hospital policies and procedures. The role requires courtesy in speaking with patients, families, and others to maintain sound community relations.

Requirements

  • Six months clerical or customer service experience - preferably in a hospital or medical office.
  • Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer.
  • Typing skills of 30 wpm.
