How you will contribute
A Patient Access Specialist who excels in this role:
Verifies insurance benefits, eligibility, and obtains insurance authorizations when necessary.
Collects deposits, co-pays, and deductibles.
Educates patients and families regarding patient rights, advanced directives, and distributes patient guides.
Commits to demonstrating the following behaviors that show that the healthcare team at Twin County Regional Healthcare CARES about our patients/families/physicians and each other.

What we are looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Computer proficiency required.
Medical terminology experience preferred.
Billing and/or collection experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must.
