About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Patient Access Representative to support our busy medical office and ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience in Patient Access or Patient Registration
  • Strong knowledge of patient demographics and medical terminology
  • Hands-on experience with EMR systems, including Epic
  • Experience with insurance verification, copay collection, and basic billing support
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and compassionate approach

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Patient Access, Front Desk, or Medical Office Administration
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Register new patients and accurately enter demographics into the EMR system
  • Schedule appointments across multiple providers and specialties
  • Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, and resolve billing-related questions
  • Gather and document insurance and billing information as needed
  • Manage inbound calls from patients, providers, and external offices
  • Support check-in and check-out processes to maintain efficient patient flow
