The Patient Access Representative is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration. This role involves interviewing patients for all pertinent account information, verifying all insurance, calculating and collecting patient liability amounts, and ensuring all necessary signatures are obtained for treatment. The representative will also answer any questions and explain policies clearly, check for physician orders and attach them to appropriate patient records, print and collate any paperwork needed for patient distribution, and escort patients to their area or refer them to an available escort.
