About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to support front-end patient services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, ensuring medical necessity compliance, and providing exceptional patient communication to facilitate seamless access to care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in patient access, call center support, scheduling, insurance verification, or administrative healthcare roles.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of patient access workflows and insurance verification processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage prior to services.
  • Ensure medical necessity compliance for procedures and services.
  • Accurately post patient payments and maintain financial records.
  • Provide call center support and respond promptly to patient inquiries.
  • Assist patients and staff with registration and access-related questions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate patient care efficiently.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
