About The Position
Join our team in Polson, on the beautiful southern shore of Flathead Lake! We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented PRN Patient Access Representative with outstanding customer service skills to join our tight-knit, welcoming team. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, helping create a seamless, positive experience while supporting the clinic’s wide range of services. About the Clinic: Logan Health’s Polson clinic is a specialty clinic providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for the entire family. Our services include: On-demand walk-in and same-day appointments Continuity of care across all ages Immunizations and minor wound care X-ray and lab services Family health care, from infants through geriatrics On-site behavioral health screening, assessment, treatment, and care coordination Women’s health services Cardiac testing Ultrasound and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or patient access role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys connecting with patients.
- Comfort using electronic health records and office software.
- Flexible and adaptable to a PRN schedule.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate care across services.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient records in electronic health systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
- Assist with front desk and administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure every patient feels valued, informed, and supported during their visit.
