The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the registration of hospital admissions and outpatient services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Federal and State regulations. Duties include collection of required patient information, insurance verification and participation in collection of deductibles and co-pays. The role works closely with hospital, clinic and revenue cycle personnel. Additionally, the representative performs general reception duties including, answering multi-line telephone and greeting and directing patients and visitors to hospital departments.
