About The Position

Requirements

• 1 year of Patient Access experience.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent communication and outstanding customer service skills.
• Basic keyboarding skills.
• Critical thinking, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and enter patient's demographic, employer, financial, emergency contact, insurance, subscriber, and case-specific information into Epic.
• Scan all necessary documents for the completion of the admission process, including consent forms, ID, and insurance cards.
• Verify patient insurance information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collect patient's financial obligation and communicate this information accurately and respectfully to the patient.
