Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least six (6) months of customer service experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to obtain and record information accurately required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities required.
• Proficient computer skills including but not limited to data entry systems, managing and creating files, i.e. Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of insurance highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology highly desirable.
• Must be able to function under stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Collect correct upfront information to assure proper care for the patient as well as the billing and collection of payment.
• Be versatile and able to register in all ancillary areas of the Patient Access Department.
• Coordinate with all areas associated with all departments of the facility.
