About The Position

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opening for a Patient Access Representative to join our team. This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $39.36/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• 1 year experience in scheduling and registration required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to patients and caregivers during life-changing events.
• Schedule appointments and perform pre-registration and registration of new and existing patients.
• Provide patients with information regarding access to additional external financial resources.
• Support patients with scheduling issues and questions for the provider(s).
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory agencies by obtaining various consents.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
