How you’ll make an impact in this role Coordinate all patient and staff communications to ensure the accurate and efficient scheduling of prescribed medical procedures. Collect and accurately process all required demographic, insurance, and clinical data to complete patient registration and promptly resolve scheduling conflicts. Develop and manage procedure schedules to maximize clinical resource utilization and optimize the patient's time. Facilitate the critical coordination of insurance pre-certification and authorization activities to secure financial clearance for patient services. Counsel patients or their representatives on all pre-service requirements and instructions to ensure full preparedness and compliance for their scheduled procedure.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
