About The Position

The Patient Access Representative III position at Evanston Hospital is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves greeting and assisting patients during the registration process, performing advanced patient registration tasks, and handling complex patient registration scenarios. The representative will collect and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into the hospital's electronic health records system, schedule patient appointments, and collaborate with insurance providers and billing teams to address insurance-related issues. Additionally, the representative will assist in training and mentoring newer staff and promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Health Administration required.
  • 2 years of previous experience in patient access, healthcare administration, or a related field.
