About The Position

Under general supervision, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for securing and providing appropriate medical and/or behavioral business information to/from patient families and funding sources. Interprets, identifies, communicates, and documents this information by way of: registration and scheduling for patient services, in a team environment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree
• 1 Year of Experience
• 1 Year of Healthcare Experience
• Experience with Epic or Other EMR systems
• Experience with payment collection efforts
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages that meet business needs of the department

Responsibilities

• Secure and provide appropriate medical and/or behavioral business information to/from patient families and funding sources.
• Interpret, identify, communicate, and document information related to patient services.
