Position Details The Patient Access Representative/Health Unit Coordinator (HUC): Enhances the patient experience by greeting patients with a warm and welcoming attitude; is receptive to the needs of patients and visitors and assists them using a caring and professional manner Operates hospital switchboard/telephone console using a caring and professional manner to assist callers, receives and directs the general public to appropriate place or department personnel, provides general information regarding Perham Health and Perham Living, and explains hospital regulations relative to visiting hours Functions as an admissions/discharge clerk by preparing admission forms and fulfilling record keeping procedures.
