RiverView Health, a community owned, membership based non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative (clinic float) to support all RiverView Health clinics. This position involves covering shifts between 7am-7pm and requires answering phones, scheduling patients for initial or follow-up appointments, greeting and registering patients, and collecting and accurately entering all required information for visits. The representative will also perform insurance verification, collect co-pays, obtain necessary signatures, and safeguard all collected monies in compliance with cash handling policies. The role supports quality by making updates and corrections to work queues and requires clear communication with patients, families, physicians, clinicians, and insurance companies.
