Wills Eye Hospital is hiring a n ASC Patient Access Representative - Billing & Surgical Scheduling in Cherry Hill, NJ at our Wills Eye Surgery Center - Cherry Hill, NJ location . In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting front-end patient access operations while coordinating surgical scheduling and providing medical billing support within the Ambulatory Surgery Center. You’ll manage accurate registration, scheduling, billing processes and contribute to a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by telephone in a professional and courteous manner. Register new patients and update existing patient demographics, including verification of insurance and financial information. Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations for office visits, procedures, and surgical services. Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances in accordance with established policies. Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, and imaging services in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and ASC staff. Communicate pre-operative instructions, scheduling details, and financial expectations to patients in a clear and timely manner. Manage surgical schedule changes, cancellations, and reschedules while ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
