Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year in customer service oriented environment.
  • Above Average Verbal Communication Skills (Heavy Public Contact).
  • Writing/Composing Reports Proficiencies.
  • PC skills and proficiency in MS Word.

Responsibilities

  • Completing an efficient and organized registration, admission and insurance verification of all inpatients and outpatients.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that accurate information is collected.
  • Informing patients and assuring they are aware of their rights as determined by HIPAA regulations and Harris Health System policy.
  • Ensuring all accounts contain comprehensive and accurate data to provide for timely billing and optimal reimbursement.
