Patient Access Rep I - 40 hrs Float
About The Position

Between the hours of 6:30am - 8pm and 1-2 weekend shifts a month. Responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient check-in and discharge process by providing excellent customer service, collecting patient information, verifying insurance coverage explaining policies & procedures, and handling patient questions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Experience admitting, scheduling, registration, or insurance verification experience 1-2 years preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures preferred.
