Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a 182-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful Fort lauderdale, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or higher degree preferred
Minimum one (1) year business office experience preferred in Health Care/Insurance Verification and Collections with computer knowledge and data entry skills.
One (1) year of related experience, with knowledge of patient care techniques regarding co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients with understanding of co-occurring disorders, preferred.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent
Current Florida Driver’s License (may be required to drive company van on occasion)
Current CPR Certification
Must pass competency exams within 90 days of hire. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
