About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a casual Patient Access Nurse. Responsible for the facilitation of patient transfers and referral processes to St. Mary’s Medical Center. This individual will answer all calls to the Referral Center line and facilitate rapid acceptance and transport of eligible patients by contacting physicians and obtaining bed assignments.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing and hold a current license in the State of West Virginia
• BLS required

Nice To Haves

• Critical Care, Emergency Services, or related Field desired
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures
