About The Position

Baptist Health is looking for a Patient Access Manager to join our team in Richmond, KY The Patient Access Manager is responsible for managing all patient access and financial counseling activities related to admissions, pre- registration, registration, and hospital-based precertification/pre-authorization, insurance verification, ensuring optimal patient relations and performance standards are maintained within the facility. The Patient Access Manager assists the Regional Director of Patient Access Services with tactical and operational decisions to sustain a high level of customer service and to generate optimal financial results. The Manager will incorporate additional patient services and business functions as set forth by the Regional Director of Patient Access Services into the processes at the facility. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business or health care related emphasis plus one year of patient access experience is required, or, in lieu of a degree, 3 years management/supervisory/team leader experience in an Access Services related position (registration, scheduling, patient accounting, or financial services).
