Ipsen is a mid-sized global biopharmaceutical company focused on transformative medicines in Oncology, Rare Disease, and Neuroscience, with nearly 100 years of development experience. With global hubs in the U.S., France, and the U.K., Ipsen addresses high unmet medical needs through research and innovation, bringing medicines to patients in 88 countries. The company fosters a human-centric, collaborative, and impactful workplace. The Patient Access Manager, Rare Diseases, is part of the Patient Services, Value and Access organization. This role ensures seamless, patient-centric support, helping patients access appropriate education and support to start and continue prescribed therapy with Ipsen products. This involves working directly with patients, HCP offices, Payers, and Specialty Pharmacies to clarify complex reimbursement issues, insurance options, limitations, benefits, and requirements for therapy initiation and maintenance. The role also facilitates prompt product shipment to eligible patients. It is a highly skilled support role, not promotional selling, requiring coordination with various Ipsen teams (Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, Marketing, Market Access and Pricing, Patient Education Liaison Team, Field Access Director, and other field-based colleagues) to support patients ethically and compliantly. Strong customer-service and solution-orientation mindsets are essential, and the manager is accountable for compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
