The Patient Access Manager I is responsible for leading all daily Patient Access operations. This role includes assisting in the preparation for both short and long-range planning recommendations for all Registration Process areas, including pre-service and point-of-service financial clearance activities and Patient Access functions. The manager actively practices budget and cost management, develops and implements action plans, and manages all operational metrics to ensure the department meets client and Conifer goals, including Service Level Agreements and budgetary guidelines. The position also involves managing staffing activities, enforcing departmental policies, and communicating effectively with staff and supervisors.
