Job Summary Wentworth Douglass Hospital offers an excellent benefits package: Responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient check-in and discharge process by providing excellent customer service, collecting patient information, verifying insurance coverage explaining policies & procedures, and handling patient questions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Experience admitting, scheduling, registration, or insurance verification experience 1-2 years preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Nice To Haves
