The primary purpose of the job is to serve as a liaison for patients in all communications regarding care rendered in the Boston Medical Center South Bay location. Provides comprehensive handling of the patient’s administrative experience, facilitating access and proper insurance management during their visit. Such tasks include gathering information for pre-admission, and full registration. Obtains pre-authorization from insurance carriers, and authorization extensions. Responsible for referral management, Schedules appointments, verifies demographic and financial information, and collection of co-payment. To participate in the success of the patient flow daily.
