About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $22.22 - $33.33 Exciting opportunity in Overlake's brand new Off-Campus Emergency Department. Overlake opened our first off-campus ED (OCED) facility in Lynnwood fall of 2025. This new OCED provides 24/7 ED-level care in a highly collaborative, fast-paced setting. Based on the model MultiCare has used to open highly successful OCED locations across Washington State. This role is responsible for exemplary customer service in greeting and orientation of patients and visitors to the hospital. Interviews the patient for complete demographic and financial data to complete the registration process accurately, efficiently and promptly. Collects appropriate monies, obtains appropriate signatures, notifies patients/guests of hospital regulations, policies and services. Per Diem / Nights

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake. Please remember to bring your COVID-19 immunization card to your pre-hire health screening with our Employee Health team.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training in medical terminology, hospital finance and customer relations a plus.
  • Prefer six months previous experience in insurance verification, billing, medical office or hospital financial services department.
  • Also prefer previous admitting/registration experience or previous physician office, hospital or other frontline customer contact experience in a business setting.
