Explore this opportunity: Schedule and register patients for Endoscopy procedures, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information, eligibility and authorizations for all patients. Coordinate all front end processes and functions including phones, files, scanning and charts. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience. This is a full-time day shift position working Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:00p with flexibilty, at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, located at 1978 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, Upper Westchester, NY.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Must possess strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- College education with bachelor degree in business administration, marketing or communication preferred.
- Secretarial experience preferred.
