We are seeking a Patient Access Clerk to join our Patient Access Department. Location: Blythe, California Position Type: Per-Diem Shift Availability: Variable (Days/Nights/Weekends) What You’ll Do Before the Visit: Schedule appointments, complete pre-registration, verify insurance coverage, and initiate precertifications. During the Visit: Register patients, validate insurance, coordinate transfers, and escort patients to the right service areas when needed. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Fluent in an additional language preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred
