About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS: ➢Must have excellent phone etiquette, answering in-coming calls, schedule appointments and directs callers to appropriate clinic departments. ➢Maintain good attendance, is punctual, and works full scheduled shifts ➢Ensure patient needs and requests are handled efficiently with good customer service, being respectful and addressing patient questions, concerns, and issues. ➢Collecting information such as patient demographics, medical history, billing, and insurance information. ➢Register new patients and electronically verify insurance eligibility for patients with Banner and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) insurance ➢Maintain general knowledge and processes of all departments in the organization ➢Follow all HIPAA requirements and confidentiality when dealing with patient questions and concerns. ➢Schedule initial and follow up appointments, verifying appointments, and perform appointment confirmations ➢Entering information into databases and maintaining accurate records ➢Report any patient concerns and/or complaints to supervisor. ➢Maintain schedule accuracy for maximum patient flow ➢Follow established procedures for answering and screening incoming calls ➢Maintain effective communication with clinic staff ➢Demonstrate respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment ➢Actively participates in staff meetings and work towards accomplishing department goals and objectives. ➢Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: ➢To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
