The Patient Access Associate is responsible for ensuring that each registered patient has a complete and accurate OSF medical record. This includes verifying patient demographics, insurance coverage, and responsible guarantor information, as well as ensuring registration precision. The role requires excellent patient service skills to create a positive first impression for patients, families, and other external parties, whether over the phone or in person. A high degree of deductive reasoning and logic skills are essential to resolve complex issues that may arise in multi-payer situations.
