About The Position

Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. This role ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. The associate is responsible for calculating patient financial responsibility, presenting patient financial options/requirements, and processing patient payments. Additionally, the position secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1 year experience in one of the following: Healthcare Revenue Cycle, Clinical role, or Related clerical accounting/finance/retail
• None Required (Licenses and Certifications)

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
• Prior Epic experience
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative
