Northwest Health Services is seeking an entry level Patient Access Assistant to join their team of professionals. Requirements

A valid driver’s license
Proof of active insurance
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Greeting and providing excellent customer service and compassion to medical clinic patients
Collect co-pays and payments at the time of service
Make reminder phone calls to confirm for the following days scheduled visit
Make follow-up calls for “no shows”
Assist patients with billing questions
Assist with sliding fee questions
Establish payment arrangements with patients if deemed necessary
Ensure all patient information is current and up to date at each visit
Ensure all insurance, Medicare or Medicaid cards are scanned
Ensure patient information sheet has been updated annually and scanned
Ensure all information in the chart matches the information in the computer per policy and procedure
