About The Position

The Pathways Student Intern (Program Analyst) position is a student internship under the Phways Internship Program at the Department of Transportation. This role is designed for current students who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a qualifying educational institution. The intern will support information system development, perform data quality reviews, and provide administrative and program support. The internship is expected to last for more than one year, with the potential for conversion to a permanent position upon graduation, depending on performance and agency needs.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Completion of one academic year of post-high school study for GS-03
• Must maintain good academic standing with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 grading scale
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to gather and analyze data
