About The Position
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics is home to the largest laboratory in NH, providing Pathology and Clinical Laboratory services to DHMC and Clinics physician practices, Dartmouth Health system member hospitals, and independent practices and hospitals throughout NH and VT. The department is a leader in process improvement (LEAN/Six Sigma), leading to a renovated space designed for workflow efficiency. With a slogan of 'Investigate, innovate and validate,' our lab is a high-volume lab with cutting-edge technology and automation, a culture that encourages collaboration and teamwork for future innovation, and a place to learn and grow. Pathology Technicians work collaboratively with Pathology Residents, Pathologists' Assistants, Histotechnicians, and Pathologists. The Histology laboratory is a fast-paced area that creates microscopic slides for diagnosis from surgical and autopsy tissue samples. We are looking for enthusiastic team members with an interest or background in anatomy and biology. The Pathology Technician provides technical support for Surgical Pathology, Histology, Autopsy, and Hazardous Materials Management.
