About The Position

Overall management of satellite pathology department. Accessioning cytology and histology specimens - preparing them for transport to BHM for processing. Entering Pathology charges and performing charge reconciliation. Maintaining specimen slides and in general assisting the pathologist on a daily basis.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (Cert, GED, Trn, Exper).
• 3 years of previous medical laboratory experience including specimen processing and/or reference lab experience.
• Previous Cytology/Histology experience.
