The Lab Histology Department is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented summer intern to support Pathology. This individual will assist with administrative and organizational tasks such as filing slides and tissue blocks, pulling materials for testing or physician requests, and aiding office staff with various clerical duties. While the intern will be working in a clinical environment, they will not be asked to perform any clinical tasks. Instead, their contributions will support the efficiency and accuracy of the lab through behind-the-scenes work. In addition to daily responsibilities, the intern may also assist with ad hoc projects as they arise. This role is ideal for someone who demonstrates strong attention to detail, is self-motivated, and works well independently. The ability to ask questions and seek clarification when needed is highly valued.
