About The Position

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services is seeking a PRN pathologist to provide floating coverage at hospitals in the Orlando and North Central Florida markets. This role involves handling a wide range of surgical pathology specimens and clinical pathology cases, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

• AP/CP certification or board eligibility.
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for community hospital practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide floating coverage at hospitals in the Orlando and North Central Florida markets.
• Handle a wide range of surgical pathology specimens.
• Manage cytology cases, including non-GYN specimens, thyroid FNA's, and lung FNA's.
• Conduct clinical pathology tasks, including peripheral smears and blood bank reviews.
