About The Position
The Pathology Grossing Technologist is responsible for the gross examination and dissection of pathology biopsy specimens and/or other simple specimens assigned by the pathologist. This role requires adherence to performance standards, accurate dictation of gross descriptions, and the application of clinical information to the analysis of biopsy cases. The technologist will also be involved in specimen accessioning, loading tissue cassettes, and performing frozen sections as needed.
