About The Position

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their West Florida Division is seeking an Associate Pathologist to be based at HCA Florida Blake Hospital which is located in Bradenton, Florida about 45 miles south of Tampa in the Sarasota metropolitan area. Pathology Services consists of over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Blake Medical Center is a 383-bed, Joint Commission accredited, tertiary hospital providing award-winning care. Blake provides the community a verified Level II Trauma Center, the only Trauma Center in Manatee County. The hospital also provides one of only six burn centers in the State. Bradenton is located on the southern tip of Tampa Bay and adjacent to some of Florida's most popular beaches including Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island. Requirements

AP/CP certification is required
Over 2 years of practicing experience preferred
Proficiency in general surgical pathology, clinical interpretations, and must have recent experience performing frozen sections
Subspecialty training or expertise in breast or lung pathology
Active Florida Medical License and/or FCVS is a plus
