About The Position
The Pathologists' Assistant at UCSF Health serves as a technical expert in the Surgical Pathology Gross Rooms, providing guidance and support to trainees and pathologists' assistants. This role involves grossing complex cancer specimens and benign resections, while also acting as an educator and role model. The incumbent will interact with laboratory directors and staff, make technical decisions, and ensure quality and efficiency in laboratory operations.
