JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Pathologist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: DuBois, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: February 12, 2026 – February 19, 2026 • Clinical Shift Schedule: 8:00a – 4:30p, Monday – Friday; half-hour unpaid lunch COVERAGE DATES • February 12, 2026 • February 13, 2026 • February 16, 2026 • February 17, 2026 • February 18, 2026 • February 19, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adult • Phone Consults: As clinically appropriate • Case Mix: General Pathology FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Adult II–IV • Office Equipment Available: Standard pathology laboratory equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Hospital specialty services • Support Staff Available: Laboratory and pathology support staff • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General pathology diagnostic services as required by facility
Requirements
- Active PA medical license required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pathology
- As required by facility
- CV must be in month/year format
- gaps of 30 days or more must be explained
- any background or malpractice issues require supporting documentation
Nice To Haves
- Recent clinical pathology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide pathology services during scheduled daytime coverage
- Review and interpret pathology specimens and diagnostic studies
- Communicate findings with clinical teams as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with laboratory and hospital staff to support patient care
