About The Position

Cedar Park Med is hiring an experienced Pathologist Assistant for a Level one Trauma Center setting. This role requires the ability to perform the majority of patient care functions with minimal orientation and supervision while supporting physicians, nurses, and clinical operations in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Master’s degree in health sciences from a NAACLS (National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences) accredited Pathologist's Assistant training program and ASCP (or eligible) required.
Must be able to meet any current NYS Department of Health and Education Department requirements for Pathologist Assistant License.

Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Surgical Pathology Gross Room.
Responsible for all activities in the absence of the Pathologist's Assistant Supervisor.
Organize, plan, delegate, implement, and participate as needed in completing tasks in consultation with the Supervisor, Department Managers and Section Medical Director.
